Gentle Hearts

Privacy notice

Effective date: 21 October 2026

In short

Who we are

Gentle Hearts Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202534421C) is a small Christian-living company in Singapore. This notice explains how we handle personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). It covers our website, ourgentlehearts.com, our emails and our orders.

Our website and emails are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.

What we collect and why

The two emails and how to leave

Morning Manna is a two-minute reading each weekday morning. Letters are short letters and articles from Willy, about twice a month. You choose each one. After you sign up, we email you to ask you to confirm. Until you confirm, we send no readings or letters.

You can leave either email, or both, at any time. Every Morning Manna and Letters email has a link to change what you get and a link to leave all our emails. Both work straight away. You can also write to us. Leaving one email changes nothing else.

Who else handles your data and where

Several of these providers keep data outside Singapore. For those that handle data for us, we check that their terms protect it to a standard comparable to the PDPA, as the law requires.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers named here, with professional advisers such as accountants when they need it, or where the law requires or allows it.

We do not upload our email list to Meta or to any other advertising platform.

How long we keep it

When we no longer need data, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your rights: access, correction, withdrawal of consent

You can ask us:

Write to sales@ourgentlehearts.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We will answer as soon as we reasonably can. If we need more than 30 days, we will tell you within 30 days when to expect our answer. There is no charge. We still keep the records the law requires, such as invoices.

If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).

How we protect it

We know that what you read about faith is personal. Our sign-up form gives every address the same reply, so no one can use it to check who reads our emails. We collect as little as we can: for our emails, not even your name. We use established providers, and protect our use of them with strong passwords and two-step verification. Within Gentle Hearts, only the people who run it can see your details. Our website uses an encrypted connection.

Data breaches

If we learn of a data breach, we will contain it and investigate quickly. If it is likely to cause significant harm, or affects 500 or more people, we will tell the PDPC within three calendar days of establishing that. If it is likely to cause you significant harm, we will also tell you as soon as we can, unless the law directs otherwise.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice, and its date, when our services or the law change. Before we use your details in a new way, we will tell you and, where the law requires, ask for your agreement.

Contact and the Data Protection Officer

Our Data Protection Officer is the Site Admin. For any question, request or complaint about your personal data, write to sales@ourgentlehearts.com. We read this inbox on Singapore working days.
